FOR PhD STUDENTS: Please join us next month on Friday, January 29, 2021, 1pm-2:30pm EST, to meet other PhD students interested in the history of nursing. Come for a casual conversation where you can ask each other for advice, recommendations for resources, and more

Our special guest will be Dr. Karen Flynn, Associate Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Flynn is a seasoned AAHN member who authored Moving Beyond Borders: A History of Black Canadian and Caribbean Women in the Diaspora (University of Toronto Press, 2011), which won the AAHN book award.
