2024 Conference Sponsor and Exhibitor Information

The American Association for the History of Nursing aims to advance discovery and its dissemination in the history of nursing and healthcare. We invite you to be a sponsor and/or exhibitor of the 41st Annual Conference to be held September 19-21, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.


Sponsors will have their logo and a link to their website listed on the AAHN conference home page, recognition in the online program, and a sponsor ribbon for their name badge. Sponsors will receive recognition at the Friday night reception and acknowledgment during the opening session of the conference.

Suggested Levels of Sponsorship are:

  • Silver:            $250
  • Gold:              $500
  • Platinum:     $1,000
  • Diamond:     $2,000
The AAHN also welcomes sponsorship of $1,000 for the Friday Reception.

Sponsors may also designate an individual or organization that they wish to honor. Honorees will be listed along with the sponsor’s names on the AAHN conference home page. 

Sponsors at the Platinum or Diamond level will receive an invitation to the opening Friday night reception and are welcome to set up a table in the conference area. Sponsors at the Friday Reception level will have a placard indicating their sponsorship placed outside the reception area.

The purpose of the AAHN Annual Conference is to enhance the professional development of our members. Accordingly, AAHN reserves the exclusive and total rights to control all aspects of the conduct of the meeting and exhibits. AAHN specifically reserves the right to determine the acceptability of applications for exhibit space. Applications must meet all of the following criteria:

  • The products or services to be exhibited are to be of professional or educational interest or benefit to the registrants.
  • The applicant is determined by AAHN to be ethical and reputable, and the goods and services to be exhibited are reasonably believed by AAHN not to be harmful, ineffective or illegal.
  • The applicant agrees to comply with AAHN’s Rules and Regulations governing exhibits.
  • The application, fees and any required documents are received prior to the established deadline.

The exhibit fee includes:

  • Table-top space includes one 6’x30” draped table, two chairs, and a wastebasket.
  • Listing in the onsite program guide.
  • Direct Web link to your organization’s homepage. Please provide the URL on the application form.
  • One “Exhibitor Only” pass is included in the cost of an exhibit space. Additional passes are available for $150 each. If an exhibitor chooses to attend any conference sessions, they are required to register for the conference separately. The “Exhibitor Only” pass does not include admission to conference sessions.


  • Nonprofit/Academic Inst./ Government - $450
  • For-Profit Organization - $700
  • Local 501(c)3 Organization - $200
