What to Do When You're in Pittsburgh

There is a wealth of local sites to visit in Pittsburgh, both before and after the conference, which you can find in the Pittsburgh Visitors Guide also noted below. Locals highly recommend the Heinz History Center, which recently updated its "Pittsburgh: A tradition of innovation" exhibition with a huge section on medical history and advances made in Pittsburgh. The Center's hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Self-guided visits are $12.00/person. The Center is about a ½ mile from the hotel or a short taxi ride.
