Call for Submissions for NP History Award

The Bjoring Center for Nursing Historical Inquiry at UVA invites proposals for the Nurse Practitioner History Research Scholar Award, which is intended for researchers who are pursuing topics related to the history of nurse practitioners. The award provides up to $5,000 of support to doctoral students, faculty and independent researchers.

The deadline for proposals is June 1, 2023. Eligibility: Any student pursuing a DNP or PhD, or an established scholar. This award is not limited to nursing scholars; other historians of medicine and health care are encouraged to apply.
